So far, no surrenders from Azovstal. The ones in charge are trying to hold out indefinitely, but the Russians figure they’ll soon run out of water, making it hard to stay in Azovstal. Not clear what happens then. Obviously, no water will be wasted on any hostages inside Azovstal, so the Azov Battalion members might be able to hold on for awhile longer.
If all they wanted to do was to kill the cancer a bullet to the head would do. But they want to remove the cancer and keep the patient alive. That is why there is so much ‘difficulty.’
