At this point, I have no idea what’s going on. RT et al. say the Ukrainian Army are shelling the Donbass but not invading. Yet. CNN say the Russians in the Donbass are shelling the Ukrainian army, and will attack and overrun the Ukraine very soon, but not yet.
The US say they have videos of Russians saying they will soon invade the Ukraine and overrun Kiev or Kyiv (your choice). When someone asked for proof, the spox said, ‘You have been given all the proof you need. You can believe a US spox is reporting what US Intelligence told him, and we know US Intelligence is the best there is and has access to all information on Russian plans, or you can watch the lies on the Russian Propaganda channel and believe that nonsense. Up to you, and if you prefer the Russian Propaganda, then leave now while everyone else hears and believes the truth.’
After all, US intelligence found out all about Saddam’s WMD, in spite of Saddam’s best efforts to hide them. (The US have all the invoices and shipping orders on Saddam’s WMD that he used during the Iran-Iraq War.)
Russia say the Donbass is part of the Ukraine. They’d like the Ukraine to follow the Minsk accords, but the Ukraine refuse, and Russia have not invaded to force them to abide by Minsk.
The US say they have proof Putin ordered the Russian Army to attack the Ukraine on 16 Feb, but Biden’s brilliant threats convinced Putin to delay that attack. But Putin is still planning an attack in a day or two, but Biden is so effective we all hope he can put the Fear of the US into Putin and convince him not to invade. If Putin does not invade the Ukraine, it will only be because Biden is one of the very best presidents the US has ever had. This is clear if one gets all one’s news from CNN and/or VOA. If one watches other sources, one is not so sure the US is telling the TRVTH, the whole TRVTH, and nothing but the TRVTH.
