The Ukranazi coup in Kiev failed in its primary objective: to secure Crimea with its vital ports for Amerikastan. Now that Ukranazistan is a looted, corrupt, depopulating hellhole, the only utility it has for its masters is as a geopolitical pawn against Russia.
The Imperialist States has no intention of directly fighting Russia; it, however, is very interested in having its proxies fight Russia. Disposable Ukranazis incinerated in their WWI trenches outside Donetsk are a price Amerikastan is more than willing to pay. Sunk Amerikastani aircraft carriers aren’t.

As the Russian News keep saying, the US generals and SES Civil Servants desperately want the Ukraine to revoke the Minsk agreement. The Ukraine must enforce those great laws against speaking Russian or attending the Russian Orthodox Church throughout the Ukraine.
History is complicated. In 1750, the Russian Empire ended at the Dnieper River. Then they annexed 60% of Poland, and the Poles all hated everything Russian. (Poland included the Baltic provinces). During WWI, Germany annexed the land west of the Dnieper River. After WWII, everything West of the Dnieper was reformed back into a smaller Poland, and the Baltic States became 3 independent countries.
After WWII, Stalin re-annexed all that the USSR lost after WWI, plus bits of what had been the Austrian Empire. As before, they all hated everything Russian.
Khrushchev was Ukrainian and moved the Crimea from the Russian Soviet Republic to the Ukrainian Soviet Republic in 1954.
Somehow, the majority in the Ukraine hated Russia. Only the easternmost bits and the Crimea loved the Russian language and the Russian Orthodox religion, so the majority voted to leave the USSR and become an independent country, with a president who let the ethnic Germans speak German, the ethnic Poles speak Polish, the ethnic Ukrainians from West of the Dnieper speak Ukrainian, and the ethnic Russians speak Russian. The Western press describes that president as rabidly pro-Russian, and the US gave lots of money and weapons to a small cabal of Ukrainians who welcomed the Wehrmacht as liberators in WWI and WWII, and they got rid of that rabidly pro-Russian president and put in a neutral president who banned the Russian language and the Russian Orthodox religion.
Russia was annoyed, and insisted the Crimea return to Russia and the Eastern Ukraine be autonomous, still part of the Ukraine, but the laws against the Russian language and the Russian religion did not apply.
The US says the Ukraine must join NATO, and it will not allow anyone to block this accession. But later. The Ukraine has disputed territory, and no nation with disputed territory can join NATO.
So, if $$$ and weapons can convince the Ukraine to try to restore Crimea and ban the Russian language throughout the Ukraine, many Ukrainians will die and Russia will probably annex the eastern Ukraine, after which the rump of Ukraine can join NATO.
Napoleon and Barbarossa wasted too much time crossing the Ukraine. NATO, with the rump Ukraine as a member, won’t have that problem.
