Today’s cartoon was at the specific request of my friend Jason Clarke, who wanted something he could post as a response to the terrorist-supporting Western “journalists” who are still banging the regime-change drum in Syria, after even their last piece of propaganda (“Assad used chlorine in Douma to gas children”) was disproved by whistleblowers from the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) itself.

The Chinese Propaganda Channel, CGTN, decided to cover the Syrian war. Xi-who-must-be-obeyed would like to make Syria part of his New Silk Road, but the US keeps getting in his way. The fool Xi wants peace and prosperity for the Syrian people, which is socialism that must be wiped out. Peace and prosperity and freedom are only for the US corporations that will extract all of Syria’s resources, and that’s the only peace and prosperity and freedom that is good.
Obama knew that, but Trump didn’t until it was finally explained to him. Three times Trump ordered all American troops withdrawn from Syria. The first time, they told him never to say that again. The second time his Defence Secretary resigned in disgust, because he couldn’t work for anyone that unAmerican.
But when Trump ordered the troops withdrawn a third time, they tried a new tack: ‘We are not in Syria to spread democracy, we’re only there to steal all the oil.’
‘OK,’ Trump said, ‘I have no objection to our troops stealing all their oil as long as they’re not spreading any Democracy.’
For which Bashar al-Assad says Trump is the best US president he’s ever known, since he’s the only one who has ever told the truth.
