  1. Another great episode! One slight change: before the school bus, the US/UK/EU establishment media never mentioned the Yemen, but the school bus got their attention and was a prominent story on both the BBC and CNN. Of course, I was reminded of Vietnam. When Johnson was president, he said the North Vietnamese attacked a US Navy ship in international waters, and the US media all said they’d verified that this was true, the attack was as bad as Pearl Harbor, and Johnson had no choice but to send 500,000 US troops. After Nixon took office, most of the US media said the North Vietnamese attack on a US Navy ship in international waters was just Nixon’s lie to get the US involved in a war it should never have gotten involved in. And now, of course, the Saudi war on the Yemen that started in ’15 was all Trump’s fault, Obama ordered the US not to sell any weapons to the Saudis nor provide any support, but Trump sold them the bomb they used on the school bus. (In fact, it was never mentioned while he was president, but Trump released the records that show that Obama sold the Saudis more weapons than any of his predecessors, plus US targetting and in-flight refuelling, so it was probably the Americans who identified that school bus as a legitimate target; it happened while Trump was president, but the system was set up by Obama and continued by Trump, so both are culpable.)
