I think there are more deserving (honestly motivated, less the psychological issues and revenge motive) examples of whistle-blowers than Manning but you nailed it Bill, the intimidation, lies and hypocrisy are world class. Only recently over 50 Department of Defense intelligence analysts filed a compliant the intelligence reports provided by the Pentagon were ‘cooked’ … accusing senior officers of rewriting the product to put gloss on failed strategy (lipstick on a pig) relating to ISIS, as well stating their work environment was “Stalinist.” I expect they’ll all be reassigned to permanent guard duty when it’s all said and done, and leave the service with no prospect of promotion…
